Since their foundation in 1963, Campion AFC has established themselves as one of Bradford’s premier amateur football clubs. Based in the Manningham area of the city, the club has developed rapidly over recent years – culminating in their ascension to semi professional status. This not only meant a step up in terms of their ground facilities, but also their online presence. Air Websites was the answer to encourage a greater involvement from the local community and sponsors to support the club’s excellent progress.

What the project entailed

As all Air Websites templates are created in-house, it means they are totally flexible and can be fully customised. This was something Campion wanted to take advantage of so they chose our ‘London Bridge’ design template as the framework but we then heavily modified and customised to suit their specific requirements. We incorporated third party feeds to populate the league table data, while also creating a complex player structure detailing the first team squad. It was crucial that the site can be updated quickly and easily with match scores and sponsorship information, so the WordPress platform was perfect for the club’s administration to do just that.
